Moziah Bridges is a 16 year old entrepreneur from Memphis, Tennessee who founded his own bow tie company (Mo’s Bows) back in 2011. Moziah used to hand-make bow ties in his grandmother’s kitchen during his early childhood years. It was from here that he decided to turn his hobby into a business, and he hasn’t looked back since. Mo’s Bows now manufactures and distributes a wide range of handcrafted bow ties, neckties and pocket squares via its online store. Moziah also appeared on Shark Tank in 2013 to pitch his business in front of millions of viewers on TV. He consequently met his mentor Daymond John who not only gives him invaluable advice, but has also invested in his business.
In 2017, Mo’s Bows entered an agreement with the NBA to exclusively manufacture bow ties with various basketball club logos printed on them. These can then be distributed via the Mo’s Bows online store as well as a number of retail outlets. Moziah aims to go to college in 2020 and study fashion design, with plans of becoming a major fashion designer in the future.
